Major Review Ordered of Suspended Tehsildar's Rulings

PUNE, 10 NOV. All decisions and orders issued by the suspended Pune City Tehsildar, Suryakant Yewale, will now be re-examined. This decision by the District Administration follows cases involving the land purchases made by Parth Pawar’s company, Amedia, in Mundhwa and Bopodi. Collector Jitendra Dudi stated that strict action will be taken if any suspicious activity is found during the review. Yewale’s suspension was recommended to the state government by Dudi after it was exposed that 13 acres of land belonging to the Agriculture College in Bopodi were incorrectly registered in the names of tenants. Yewale was found guilty in both the Mundhwa and Bopodi cases, leading to his suspension. Legal action, such as demotion, withholding of increments, or other administrative penalties, will be pursued based on the various points noted by the Divisional Inquiry Committee. Furthermore, the land transfer in Mundhwa has not been executed, and the process to cancel Tehsildar Yewale's orders by the Sub-Divisional Officer has already been initiated.
