The 'Self-Reliant Scheme' (PM SVANidhi), launched to empower street vendors, was suspended for the last nine months. However, even after the scheme resumed, vendors are complaining that they are not receiving a proper response from the banks. This scheme was created to make vendors self-reliant, but due to the wrong attitude of the banks, its original objective is being defeated. It has also come to light that due to the poor response, vendors are being pushed away from becoming self-reliant.

Following the case of illegal sale of Mahar Vatan land in Kondhwa, a similar incident has come to light regarding the sale of 15 acres and 32 Gunthas (6.32 hectares) of government land belonging to the State Government's Animal Husbandry Department in Tathawade. The Animal Husbandry Department approached the police and filed a complaint against the Sub-Registrar who registered the deed, as well as those involved in the sale and purchase of the land.
