A shocking incident of murder has been reported from Pimpri-Chinchwad (Pune), where a man named Nitin Gilbile was allegedly shot dead by two of his own friends. The incident took place inside a car, where an altercation between the three individuals escalated into a deadly act of violence
PIMPRI, 13 NOV. Pune's Pimpri-Chinchwad area was rattled by a sensational firing incident near the Charholi Alankapuram Chowk, where a man named Nitin Gilbile was shot and killed by two of his own friends. The shocking event unfolded while the three were reportedly sitting inside a Fortuner car parked along the Alandi-Dighi Road around 6 PM.
According to information provided by the police, the deceased Nitin Gilbile, along with the two suspected accused, Amit Pathare and Vikrant Thakur, were conversing inside the four-wheeler. The conversation quickly escalated, and Pathare and Thakur allegedly drew a pistol and fired a shot into Gilbile's head at close range.
Following the shooting, Gilbile was immediately rushed to a nearby private hospital for medical attention. However, he succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead shortly after. The two accused, Amit Pathare and Vikrant Thakur, fled the scene immediately after the crime.
Primary investigations suggest that the motive behind the murder is a dispute over a land plotting business in which all three individuals were involved. It is suspected that an argument concerning financial transactions within this business led to the deadly confrontation.
The Dighi Police have registered a case and are actively searching for the two absconding accused. Senior officials, including Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Shivaji Pawar, visited the crime scene to oversee the investigation into the matter.
