Unrest in Ladakh due to Chinese aggression: India's blow

New Delhi / Correspondent

India has blamed the provocative behavior of Chinese troops in the Ladakh region and repeated aggression for creating unrest in the region. China had accused India of being responsible for the long-running standoff between India and China in Ladakh. India has responded to this allegation.

Large numbers of troops and weapons are frequently deployed along the border from China. In response, more troops are being sent from India. "It is India's duty to do so in self-defense," Arindsam Baganchi, a Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) Spokesperson told reporters. He also said that India expects China to take the initiative to find a mutually acceptable and binding solution to the dispute over the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

China has recently accused New Delhi of being the source of the rift between India and China. China has claimed that India is playing an expansionist role and is encroaching on its territory illegally. India has categorically denied the allegations, saying China's provocations have strained relations between the two countries.
