Insights into BJP Yuva Morcha’s Organisational Vision and Youth Outreach
1. What major strategies have you planned regarding the expansion of the Yuva Morcha’s organisation?
Answer: “We are implementing a few major strategies for the organisational expansion of the BJP Yuva Morcha. First—building a strong organisation of young workers at the booth level and providing them regular training. Second—effective use of digital platforms, through which continuous communication with the young generation is maintained. Third—increasing the direct participation of youth through educational, social and skill-development programmes. And fourth—encouraging youth leadership based on local issues, which helps strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level.”

2. What concrete steps will be taken to expand Yuva Morcha branches in every taluka?
Answer: “Currently, as Yuva Morcha, we have formed the taluka executive committee by appointing taluka presidents. Responsibilities like general secretary and vice president have been given to the workers. Further, we have planned to establish a Yuva Morcha branch in every village.”

3. What training or initiatives will be implemented to enhance leadership and organisational skills of the workers?
Answer: “In the coming days, BJP Yuva Morcha will organise a study camp. This camp will be residential. It will explain what responsibilities the office bearers must fulfil. The exact roles of the general secretary, vice president and other positions will be explained clearly.”

4. What is the future plan to make the new voter registration and youth membership drive more effective?
Answer: “We will set up new voter registration camps at various squares, explain the importance of voting to people, and tell them that BJP is a party working for the nation and national interest. By explaining the party’s stand to people, we will enrol more and more members.”

5. What new initiatives will the Yuva Morcha take to make social media campaigns more dynamic?
Answer: “Yes, we have now opened official accounts of the Yuva Morcha on social media. Through these accounts, we will post regularly. We will use social media effectively to reach people and will conduct new activities.”

6. You mentioned making youth workers the ‘power centres’ of the party—what will be the first step in this direction?
Answer: “The first step to make youth workers the ‘power centres’ of the party is accurate identification of their capacities and skill mapping. A separate report will be prepared for each taluka and village assessing the strengths, areas of interest and leadership qualities of active youth. After that, specific training sessions, communication workshops and a guideline process clarifying responsibilities will be implemented. This will ensure that the right youth receive the right roles, their energy is used effectively and they naturally become the core of the organisation.”

7. What strategy will you use to increase youth participation in the new voter registration campaign?
Answer: “To increase youth participation, we will focus mainly on awareness and facilitation. First—information campaigns will be conducted in colleges, training institutes and youth groups to guide them clearly on the registration process, required documents and deadlines. Second—help centres and digital assistance initiatives will be set up to simplify the online registration process. Third—teams of trained volunteers will be formed to provide on-ground assistance and information. These steps will naturally increase youth participation and make the entire registration process easier and smoother.”

8. What challenges exist in delivering the Pradesh Yuva Morcha programmes to the booth level, and what are the solutions?
Answer: “There are some practical challenges. First—lack of information or communication gaps, due to which programme details do not reach the booth level on time. Second—uneven participation and availability of workers, since the number and activeness of workers vary at each booth. Third—limitations of training and resources, which makes effective implementation difficult.

Solutions include—strengthening communication systems through digital groups, online meetings and a unified system for urgent updates; appointing booth-wise coordinators to review programme execution; and providing standard kits/guide formats to ensure uniformity and proper execution. With these measures, Pradesh-level initiatives will reach the booth level more effectively.”

9. What changes or improvements are needed in the structure of the taluka executive committee?
Answer: “A few important improvements are needed. First—clear division of responsibilities; often the posts exist but there is no clarity on work, so defined role descriptions for each post are necessary. Second—increasing representation of active grassroots workers, which makes the work more effective. Third—appointing members with specific skills such as digital, event planning, communication management etc. Fourth—regular evaluation and restructuring based on performance. These reforms will make the taluka executive more dynamic, responsible and result-oriented.”

10. What role will the Yuva Morcha play in effectively delivering government schemes to the youth?
Answer: “The role of the Yuva Morcha will focus on information-communication, guidance and coordination. First—awareness programmes will inform youth about schemes, eligibility criteria and application processes. Second—help desks and digital support will be set up to assist with online applications, documents and verification processes. Third—coordination with local administration and concerned departments will help resolve difficulties faced by youth. This will ensure that information about schemes reaches youth clearly, accessibly and in useful form.”

11. What differences do you observe between organisational work in rural and urban talukas, and how will you work accordingly?
Answer: “There are natural differences. In rural areas, geographical distance, limited facilities and importance of personal contact are key factors. In urban areas, fast lifestyle, heavy use of digital media and continuous engagement with diverse groups are important.

Accordingly—rural areas will focus on direct visits, village-level meetings and involvement of local leaders. Urban areas will focus on digital communication, modular programmes, networking with student groups and time-efficient initiatives. This dual approach will ensure effective organisation in both settings.”

12. What is your plan to communicate the Yuva Morcha’s message more effectively to youth through social media?
Answer: “Our plan focuses on three points—quality content, consistency and two-way communication. First—content will be short, informative and youth-oriented, designed for each platform. Second—a regular posting calendar will be maintained. Third—videos, reels, infographics and live sessions—which the youth prefer—will be increased. Fourth—social media coordinators will be appointed in every taluka. These measures will make communication more clear, attractive and youth-friendly.”

13. What campaigns are being prepared to increase youth participation on digital platforms?
Answer: “We are preparing specific campaigns. First—the ‘Youth Connect’ online campaign, featuring short videos, infographics and interactive posts. Second—theme-based weekly campaigns such as skill development, environment, start-ups, education and digital literacy. Third—online competitions, webinars and live discussions to offer direct participation. Fourth—digital volunteer teams in every taluka to share local content regularly. These initiatives will significantly increase youth presence and participation on digital platforms.”
—“Accordingly, Voice of Devendra will be implemented.”
