PUNE, 12 NOV. A serious road accident took place on the Pune-Nashik National Highway near Manchar, causing injuries to 22 pilgrims from Nagpur. The devotees were traveling in a bus heading towards the popular pilgrimage destination of Shrikshetra Shegaon when the collision occurred.
The accident site was identified as the Tambde Mala area near Nandi Chowk in Manchar. According to initial reports, the bus carrying the pilgrims was struck by a truck, resulting in a significant impact.
Emergency services and local residents swiftly responded to the scene, helping to rescue the injured from the bus. All 22 injured pilgrims were immediately transported to a nearby rural hospital in the region for primary medical treatment.
