Taking a significant step towards the overall development of their village, the youth of Paryanti have come together to spearhead various development initiatives and ensure that eligible residents benefit from government schemes. As part of this collective effort, the Jaltara Groundwater Recharge Project was inaugurated at Paryanti village amid enthusiasm and participation from villagers.

Under the Jaltara scheme, as many as 177 groundwater recharge pits have been sanctioned for farmers in Paryanti. The project is expected to facilitate the percolation of approximately 6.37 crore litres (63.72 million litres) of water into the ground, significantly contributing to the improvement of groundwater levels and enhancing water availability for farmers in the coming years.

Speaking on the occasion, Pradeep Shendge, Block Development Officer of the Man Panchayat Samiti, praised the youth for coming together and taking responsibility for the development of their village. He said that their collective efforts were translating into tangible development works, with positive results already becoming visible.

He expressed confidence that the initiative undertaken by Paryanti's youth would inspire young people in other villages across Man taluka and the entire district. He further observed that if young people continued to work together with such commitment, no one could stop the development of their villages.

Several senior citizens of the village also shared their views and appreciated the initiative. They congratulated the youth for their efforts and assured them of full support in future development activities. They also expressed their willingness to actively participate in similar initiatives aimed at the overall progress of the village.

The initiative has received active contributions from several young residents, including Samadhan Narale, Ajay Bad, Prajwal Narale, Ram Navatre, Vishal Narale, Sonu Shinde, Mauli Atpadkar and Ananda Bad, along with many others. The group has been consistently working to bring various government schemes to the village, identify eligible beneficiaries and ensure that they receive the benefits.

Following the inauguration ceremony, the officials, along with villagers, conducted an on-site inspection of various development works in the village. The inspection covered the development of the cremation ground, desilting and deepening of check dams, and other essential infrastructure requirements. Plans were discussed to submit proposals for these works.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Pradeep Shendge, Block Development Officer, Man Panchayat Samiti; Suresh Lade, Administrator and Extension Officer; Sunil Dhane, Agriculture Extension Officer; Avishkar Karande, Assistant Programme Officer; Rajesh Kengar, Technical Officer; and Prasad Thorat, Gram Panchayat Officer of Paryanti Gram Panchayat.

The initiative by Paryanti's youth to work collectively for the development of the entire village, rather than focusing solely on individual progress, is emerging as an inspiring model for others. With the combined support of government schemes, administrative machinery and community participation, Paryanti is setting an example of how collective determination can drive sustainable rural development.
