Who Is Responsible for Anuj’s Death? Parents Launch Hunger Strike Outside Satara Collector’s Office

SATARA, Correspondent

The parents of nine-year-old Anuj Bhise have launched an indefinite hunger strike outside the Satara District Collector’s Office, demanding action against those they hold responsible for their son’s death. Seeking justice for their child, they have urged the administration to establish accountability and bring the responsible persons to justice.

Alleging that substandard road construction work contributed to the circumstances surrounding Anuj’s death, the parents have demanded a thorough investigation into the quality of the roadwork. Their key demands include action against the contractor and the officials concerned, along with strict punishment for those found guilty in connection with the case.

“We will not withdraw our hunger strike until justice is delivered,” the parents asserted. They have also warned that they will not back down from their protest, even in the face of severe personal hardship.

The parents’ struggle to secure justice for their son has drawn attention to the administration’s response to the case. Their personal grief has turned into a protest seeking accountability and action.

All eyes are now on the district administration and the steps it takes to investigate the allegations, determine responsibility and initiate appropriate action against those found guilty.
