Ravindra Dhangekar Challenges Minister Mohol Over Jain Boarding House Deal!

Pune, Correspondent

Union Minister of State Murlidhar Mohol has denied any connection with the controversial Jain Boarding House land transaction. However, Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) city chief and former MLA Ravindra Dhangekar has challenged Mohoal’s statement, claiming he possesses all the evidence related to the case. Dhangekar has demanded that Mohoal resign from his ministerial post.

The Jain Boarding House land was purchased in 1958 to provide accommodation for underprivileged students from the Jain community. Later, a few directors allegedly conspired to sell the property. Dhangekar claimed that in November 2023, the land was set to be sold for ₹230 crore, and that Gandhi, Gokhale, and Mohoal together plotted to usurp the property.

Dhangekar further stated that he has concrete evidence to back his allegations, branding Mohoal a “dacoit” and announcing plans to write to Prime Minister Narendra Modi demanding his removal from the cabinet.

Meanwhile, Dhangekar also accused senior state minister Chandrakant Patil of supporting notorious gangsters Nilesh Ghaywal and Satish Patil—both facing charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) and currently absconding abroad. He warned that his campaign would continue until both are arrested.
