Nitish Kumar highlights youth employment and education boost ahead of Bihar polls!
Patna, Oct 4 : Just before Bihar assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today said that lots of initiatives were taken to provide quality education and job oriented training skills to youths to improve their employability while nothing was done for them during the RJD-Congress regime.
Kumar, while speaking on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, rolled out several schemes for youths of Bihar and also across the country.
He claimed that his government had taken lots of steps since voted to power in November 2005, which helped in improving the quality of education and imparting job oriented training to them, which also increased their employability.
“The education system was shattered during the RJD-Congress regime, which caused much damage to the younger generation, jeopardising their future,” he noted.
“Convocation of ITI toppers from more than one thousand institutions across the country, has been graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which is a matter of immense pleasure for him,” Chief Minister said, adding that his government had provided ten lakh government jobs and 40 lakh employments to youths since 2020.
“A target has been fixed to provide government jobs and employment to one crore youths in next five years,” he added.
Kumar informed that PM Modi had launched 11 schemes and projects for youths including transferring increased scholarships to 25 lakhs school students of Bihar. “The newly constituted Youth Commission had also been inaugurated by the PM,” he added.
“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar is getting full support from the Centre in carrying out schemes and projects relating to welfare and development of the state", the Chief Minister said.”
The state was moving fast on the development track with accelerated pace as rule of law had been established in Bihar. It was also an extreme pleasure for him to recall that Centre had recently approved opening 19 new Central schools in Bihar, he stated.
