A large-scale cleanliness drive has been undertaken in 25 villages of Mohol taluka that were severely affected by recent floods and waterlogging. The campaign was launched to restore hygiene and prevent the spread of diseases caused by the accumulation of waste and debris.
The initiative is being carried out under the leadership of Zilla Parishad Rural Supply Executive Engineer and Nodal Officer Sanjay Dhanshetty, with guidance from District Collector Kumar Aarshiwaad and Zilla Parishad CEO Kuldeep Jangam.
Teams of Zilla Parishad employees and volunteers from social organizations joined hands to clean up localities, schools, anganwadis, primary health centers, and residential areas where mud and garbage had piled up after the floods.
Local villagers have actively supported the drive, appreciating the efforts of officials and volunteers. Meanwhile, authorities have also conducted on-ground inspections of damaged school buildings and roads affected by the floods.
