IRCTC Announces Sapt Jyotirlinga Shravan Special Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train from Solapur Starting August 11

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has announced the 'Sapt Jyotirlinga Shravan Special Yatra' under its Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train initiative. The 13-night, 14-day spiritual journey will commence from Solapur on August 11, 2026, offering devotees an opportunity to visit some of India's most revered Jyotirlingas and sacred pilgrimage destinations during the holy month of Shravan.
The itinerary includes visits to Dwarkadhish Temple (Dwarka), Somnath Jyotirlinga (Veraval), Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga (Ujjain), Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga (Nashik), Grishneshwar Jyotirlinga (near Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar) and Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga (Markapur).
According to Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, IRCTC West Zone, the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train has a capacity of approximately 750 passengers and offers three travel classes: Economy Sleeper (SL), Standard 3AC, and Comfort 2AC.
Boarding facilities will be available from Solapur, Kurduwadi, Daund, Pune, Lonavala, Karjat, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Dahanu Road, Vapi, and Surat, making the pilgrimage accessible to devotees across Maharashtra and Gujarat.
The all-inclusive package covers comfortable rail travel, budget hotel accommodation on twin, triple, or quadruple sharing basis, pure vegetarian meals, AC/non-AC vehicles for sightseeing, comprehensive travel insurance, and the assistance of experienced IRCTC tour managers throughout the journey.
IRCTC has stated that passenger safety, health, and comfort remain its top priorities, with all necessary arrangements in place to ensure a safe and hassle-free pilgrimage experience.
The per-person package costs are:
- Economy Sleeper (SL): ₹24,050
- Standard 3AC: ₹39,730
- Comfort 2AC: ₹52,400
