In view of the increasing traffic congestion and festive rush in Baramati city, the Baramati Municipal Council has provided additional manpower to support the city’s Traffic Branch. A total of 10 security guards from the Maharashtra Security Force (MSF) have been appointed to assist in maintaining smooth traffic flow and enforcing traffic regulations more effectively.

The decision follows a formal request made by the Baramati Traffic Branch to the Municipal Council. Acting on the initiative of Police Inspector Chandrashekhar Yadav, who heads the Traffic Division, the proposal was swiftly approved. Major areas such as main marketplaces, the bus stand vicinity, and busy intersections have been facing increasing traffic pressure, making this reinforcement necessary.

The newly appointed MSF personnel will assist traffic police in regulating vehicular movement and encouraging citizens to follow traffic rules. Speaking about the development, Inspector Yadav said,

“During festive seasons, traffic density increases significantly. With this additional manpower, managing and controlling traffic will become easier. We urge citizens to cooperate and follow the directions of both security personnel and traffic police.”

Residents of Baramati have welcomed the move, calling it a timely and effective step towards ensuring a more disciplined and organized traffic management system in the city.
