To fulfill its responsibilities during the Corona Crisis, Quad will produce 100 million Corona vaccines by the end of 2022, which will be distributed free of charge to the poorest countries in Asia, said Jane Psaki, the White House's Press secretary.

India, Australia, Japan and the United States have set up an informal forum called 'Quad' to work together on various global issues. The first virtual meeting of heads of quad nations took place in March. The meeting also promised to supply 100 crore corona vaccines to Southeast Asian countries.

The United States will be responsible for supplying corona vaccines to needy countries not only in Asia but around the world. The United States has so far supplied 110 million free vaccines, it is more than any other country, Psaki claimed. "Apart from this, we have procured 50 crore vaccines from Pfizer and will be supplied to various countries from this month," she said. According to health experts, another 1,100 crore vaccines are needed for effective vaccination worldwide, and she called on competent countries and international organizations to take initiatives to meet this need.
