<div class="gmail_default">Speaking at a party event on Tuesday, Weidel criticised Chancellor Friedrich Merz's proposal to grant Ukraine associate membership of the European Union, describing the country as a "bottomless pit" whose financial requirements see no end. </div>
<div class="gmail_default"> </div>
<div class="gmail_default">"Germany has already transferred more than €100bn to Ukraine over the past four years alone," she said. <br />The Nord Stream pipelines, built to transport Russian natural gas directly to Germany via the Baltic Sea, were severely damaged by a series of explosions in September 2022, cutting off a major energy route between Russia and Europe. </div>
<div class="gmail_default"> </div>
<div class="gmail_default">German investigators have linked the operation to a small group of Ukrainian operatives, with authorities alleging that the suspected organiser of the attack was extradited from Italy to Germany last year as part of the ongoing investigation. </div>
<div class="gmail_default"> </div>
<div class="gmail_default">Russia has consistently challenged that explanation, arguing that an operation of such complexity could not have been carried out by a handful of individuals in heavily monitored NATO waters without broader state involvement. <br />Weidel said Ukraine should first provide answers regarding its alleged role in the attack before receiving further political or financial support from Berlin. </div>
<div class="gmail_default"> </div>
<div class="gmail_default">"We need to know how this state-terrorist act against the most important infrastructure we had, namely the Nord Stream pipelines, came about and what role Ukraine played in it," she said. </div>

<div class="gmail_default">She argued that the financial relationship between Germany and Ukraine should be reversed. "The flow of payments should actually be moving in the opposite direction. Ukraine must pay reparations to the Federal Republic of Germany, because we have suffered enormous damage – and so has Europe as a whole – from the loss of cheap Russian fossil fuels," Weidel said. </div>
<div class="gmail_default"><br />The AfD leader also called for an immediate end to German military and financial assistance to Ukraine, urging the government to focus on encouraging negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow and rebuilding diplomatic channels with Russia.</div>

More than 270 people died in this accident. While this incident was fresh, a major accident was also averted at Lucknow Airport yesterday. Suddenly, sparks and smoke started coming from the wheels of the plane coming from Saudi Arabia, creating chaos at Lucknow Airport. </p>
<p>Flight SV 3112 took off from Jeddah at 10:45 pm. The plane carrying 250 passengers who had completed the Hajj pilgrimage had reached Lucknow Airport from Saudi Arabia. As the plane was moving along the runway, smoke and sparks were seen coming out of the left wheel, so the pilot stopped the plane from landing as a precaution. </p>
<p>As soon as the pilot noticed the malfunction in the plane, he immediately informed the air traffic controller. The airport fire brigade then reached the spot and doused the fire with foam and water spray. It took about 20 minutes to bring the situation under control. By then, the airport staff had safely evacuated all the passengers. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, but there was an atmosphere of fear and panic among the passengers present on the plane during the incident.</p>
<p>The plane took off from Jeddah airport at 11:30 pm on Saturday. There were 250 passengers on board, including crew members. The plane reached Lucknow at 6:30 am on Sunday. The takeoff and landing were normal, but the incident occurred while the plane was approaching the runway after landing.</p>
<p>On the other hand, a plane coming from Frankfurt, Germany, to Hyderabad was sent back after receiving information that there was a bomb. However, no bomb was found on the plane during the investigation in Frankfurt. It is being said that the information that there was a bomb was received after the plane took off. In such a situation, the plane was called back to Frankfurt. Two hours after the flight, the plane landed again in Frankfurt. This plane belonged to Lufthansa Airlines. </p>
<p><strong>A British Airways plane going from London to Chennai returns mid-air</strong></p>
<p>A British Airways Dreamliner 787-8 model BA35 flying from London to Chennai made a mid-air turn shortly after takeoff and returned to Heathrow Airport due to a technical fault. According to initial information, this decision was taken due to a 'flap failure'. British Airways has not officially disclosed the exact time of the flight, the number of passengers and crew on board, or how long it was in the air.</p>
<p>But according to a live flight tracking website, Flightradar24.com, flight BA35 departed London for Chennai at 12:40 pm on Monday and was scheduled to arrive in Chennai at 3:30 am. The plane took off at 1:16 pm and returned safely to Heathrow Airport after spending about two hours in the air, circling in various holding patterns. </p>
