The Zilla Parishad Primary School Shingve organised a School Readiness Fair for children eligible for admission to Class 1, aiming to help them transition smoothly from anganwadi to formal schooling.

The event was designed to familiarize young children with the school environment and generate enthusiasm about learning before the commencement of the academic year. Various activities and games were conducted to assess and promote the physical, mental, intellectual, and social development of the students.

The programme was attended by several dignitaries, including Sunil Kate, Agriculture Extension Officer of the Panchayat Samiti; Shaila Nimse, Education Extension Officer; Raju Jadhav, Centre Head; More, Gram Vikas Officer; Panchayat Samiti member Shweta Dhobale; Police Patil Ganesh Pandit; Deputy Sarpanch Hiraman Gorde; and Dilip Gorde, along with parents, teachers, and newly enrolled students.

Class teacher Vaijayanti Lokhande extended her best wishes to the students and parents. The programme began with an introductory address by Headmaster Navnath Sinalkar.

The event was coordinated by members of the School Management Committee, including President Sameer Gorde, Vice-President Rekha Pabale, and Mahesh Bangar.

As part of the initiative, students admitted to Class 1 were provided with notebooks, pens, textbooks, and school uniforms. Philanthropist Mauli Pabale donated notebooks, pens, and pencils to underprivileged students.

The village gram panchayat distributed laddus to students across Zilla Parishad schools, while retired teacher Dilip Gordedistributed biscuit packets to students of all Zilla Parishad primary schools in the area.

The programme arrangements were handled by Sangeeta Indore, Subhash Indore, Vilas Bhor, Ashok Lokhande, and Dukare Sir. The vote of thanks was delivered by Jalinder Ponde.
