Solapur, Oct 3 — Heavy rainfall and floods have severely affected villages in Karmala, Madha, Mohol, North Solapur, South Solapur, and Akkalkot talukas of the district. A total of 120 temporary relief centres have been set up across 82 villages. At each centre, under the supervision of community health officers, teams of five health workers have been deployed to conduct health check-ups for citizens.

In South Solapur taluka, the district administration and health department jointly inspected relief centres and organized health camps. District Health Officer Dr. Santosh Navale visited the shelter centre at Shri Someshwar Temple in Hattur sub-centre and reviewed the health facilities being provided to flood-affected citizens.

Due to flood conditions in Sindkhed village under Madre sub-centre of Hotgi Primary Health Centre, people were shifted to relief centres at Madre Anand Nagar Tanda, Aherwadi Konapure School, and Bankalgi Zilla Parishad School. Arrangements for accommodation, meals, and medical treatment were made at these centres. Dr. Santosh Navale, Dr. Neelima Ghogre (Taluka Health Officer), and their team personally interacted with citizens, listened to their concerns, and carried out health check-ups.

Following the directives of the Chief Executive Officer, health camps were also organized in flood-affected areas of Akkalkot taluka, including Sangogi B, Maidargi, Shegaon, and Karjagi primary health centres. Taluka Health Officer Dr. Ashwin Karjakhade visited the camps, which were attended by medical officers, health teams, gram sevaks, and sarpanchs.

In Karmala taluka, health camps were held at Jategaon, Khadki, and Kamone sub-centres with the participation of students from Vijaysinh Mohite Patil Nursing College, Akluj. Additionally, at Gunjegaon disaster relief centre under Kandalgaon primary health centre, officials interacted with beneficiaries to review the situation.

Through coordinated efforts of the district administration and health department, shelter, medical services, and essential facilities are being provided promptly to flood-affected citizens. The health department has taken strict measures to prevent the outbreak of any epidemic in the affected villages.

Former member Subhash Mane has raised the slogan "Go Away (Chale Jao) " against Solapur ZP CO Manisha Avhale who failed to stand up for ZP in the recently held district planning meeting.

There was a strong uproar against the Health, Education, Water Supply " Jaljeevan Mission " of the Zilla Parishad. The ex-members say that mission's motto has come to a standstill as CO Manisha Avhale did not try to stop this commotion.

At present, the displeasure has increased tremendously due to arbitrary administration in the Zilla Parishad. The personal assistant appointed by CO helps people of his choice to meet CO Manisha Avhale by which his selfishness is being achieved.

Due to the increasing interference of CO in relation to the distribution of funds in the Gram Panchayat, Social Welfare, Water, Health, Household Construction, Small Irrigation, Agriculture Department, Sarpanch and former ZP Members arguments are being contested among them.

Why CO Manisha Avhale should give more funds to a particular village when the funds are distributed according to the approved plan & according to the population of each village? The question is being asked by Vangi Gram Panchayat.

Since CO Manisha Avhale took charge, education department has been a burden. Sanjay Javir, who was in charge of the Primary Education Department, was relieved of his post and given to Prasad Mirakle, Program Officer of Female Child Welfare. Meanwhile, the CO's office was vandalized during the roster check.
 
Manisha Avhale sent a complaint to respective authority to take action against the secondary education officer Dattatray Phadke, who took charge when this incident was fresh, accusing him of being incapable of running the education department, which angered many educational institute managers.

Due to CO Manisha Avhale, ZP former member Subhash Mane has demanded to the Chief Minister Eknath Shinde that the administrative system has collapsed and she should be relieved from the post of CO immediately.

In this background, when trying to contact the CO Manisha Avhale her personal assistant Manedesh Mukh said that the CEO refused to meet the journalists.
