PUNE, 5 NOV. The NCP alleges that the city currently has virtually no semblance of law and order remaining. They point to the alarming prevalence of murders in broad daylight, shootings, attacks with 'koyta' (a type of sharp weapon), robberies, and gang wars across Pune. Residents are forced to step out of their homes for daily work with their lives in their hands, with no guarantee that family members who leave will return home alive. Highlighting this grim scenario, a young man was brutally murdered in broad daylight on Bajirao Road yesterday.

The individual responsible for law and order, and one who refers to himself as the 'Architect' of Pune, is the State Chief Minister and Home Minister, Devendra Fadnavis. However, the party alleges that he is currently busy campaigning for his own party in Bihar instead of focusing on the dire situation in Pune.

In strong opposition to this anarchic administration, the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar Faction), led by City President Prashant Jagtap, organized a fierce protest today. The demonstration, held at Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya Chowk, demanded that Home Minister Fadnavis should resign from his post and dedicate his full time to his party's campaigning.

During the protest, all office bearers and workers of the NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar Faction), under the leadership of City President Prashant Jagtap, strongly condemned the anarchic governance of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the inactive leadership of Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Attendees at the protest included Dr. Sunil Jagtap, Kishor Kambale, Manjiri Ghadge, Asif Sheikh, Amol Pardeshi, Ajinkya Palkar, Vishnu Sagar, Anita Pawar, Rupali Shelar, Madan Kothule, Rohan Gaikwad, Fahim Shaikh, Sumit Kashid, Rameez Sayyed, Hemant Badhe, Shivraj Malwadkar, Pooja Katkar, and Shailendra Bhelekar.
