Swapnil Surendra Medhe, a student of the Competitive Training Center at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI), Yerwada, Pune, was recently felicitated by BARTI for securing first rank in the Scheduled Caste category in the 2023 State Services Preliminary Examination (MPSC) for the post of Faujdar (Police Sub-Inspector).

The results for the Group B Police Sub-Inspector exam were recently declared, confirming Mr. Medhe’s selection. He visited the BARTI institute on 14 October 2025, where he paid his respectful homage to the statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution and Bharat Ratna awardee.

Congratulating him for bringing laurels to the institute, BARTI Director General Mr. Sunil Ware praised Swapnil Medhe’s achievement. He was honored with a replica of the Indian Constitution by Dr. Baban Jogdand, Head of the Department of Extension & Services, Anil Karande, Head of Skills & Development Department, and Nitin Chavan, Accounts Officer, along with best wishes for his future administrative career.

Expressing gratitude, Mr. Medhe credited his success to BARTI, stating, “It is because of BARTI that I am an officer today.” He also mentioned his commitment to working in the spirit of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s ideals.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by BARTI officials and staff including Project Manager Dr. Sarika Thorat, Shubhangi Sutar, Vinayak Bhalerao, Mahamad Kalal, Sunanda Gaikwad, Usha Bhingare, Vaishali Khandekar, and Ramdas Lokhande.
